Here's the reality: Homes available for sale have consistently hit record lows for several years...

Therefore, it logically follows that finding a home that meets your criteria becomes more challenging. This doesn't imply that your dream home won't eventually come on the market, it might just take a bit longer than initially expected.

So, if you're planning  to purchase a house in 2024, give yourself a minimum window of 4-6 months.

I also recommend identifying your top three non-negotiables for a house and remaining flexible with other criteria.
